Kids (2-7)
Our Services
At ABA Insight, we provide personalized therapy services designed for adolescents and tweens. Our structured approach includes comprehensive assessments, tailored treatment plans, and ongoing progress monitoring to help develop essential skills like social interaction and independence.
What We Provide
At ABA Insight, we provide ABA services tailored to school-age children and tweens with autism, offered either in our centers or in the community based on their unique needs. We conduct thorough assessments to recommend therapy plans that maximize benefits while minimizing risks. Every intervention strategy is carefully designed and collaboratively agreed upon with parents or guardians, ensuring your child receives the support they need to thrive.
Both comprehensive and focused ABA interventions are provided in all locations. In some locations, home and community-based services are provided. This is based on clinical capacity of the area, client need, and medical necessity. The duration of therapy is highly variable and individualized. Client progress is measured via ongoing supervision, with formal skill and adaptive behavior assessments every 3-6 months.

How Kids learn to build relationships
Learning to ask for wants and needs
Asking and requesting (Manding) is one of the first skills taught and is one of the first verbal repertoires that children acquire (Sundberg & Michael, 2001). Mands are divided into two subcategories: mands that access positive reinforcement (the good things) and mands that result in the avoidance or removal of aversive or nonpreferred stimuli. We teach children to request!
Learning to learn
This is a critical component in the first stages of learning. A child can learn that looking and listening carefully helps them understand their world better, leading to immediate and frequent rewards! This entails learning skills such as learning how to sit, remain on task, being responsive to instruction, learning to process and understand cause and effect. All of this prepares a child for the school environment!
Learning to play
Play is essential to learning because it helps children develop social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. Play is the natural way to build language and helps children learn how to manage their emotions.
Learning to have fun and interact
Play is a fun and joyful activity that provides children with opportunities to learn about and master relationships, language, problem solving, and their bodies. Beyond learning the skills of play it is also important that children find it motivating to engage in play. We teach how to make these interactions rewarding and fun so that children are more likely to initiate play again in the future!
